A LARGE AND HIGHLY DECORATIVE FRENCH ORMOLU CLOCK, late nineteenth/early twentieth century, the simple French two train movement enclosed within a central drum with enamelled Roman numerals, (some damage), the case decorated in a fantastic mixture of Baroque and rococo styles, with a large urn finial, numerous 'C' scrolls, coquillage and cast fleur-de-lys decoration, terminating with an Amorini holding a trident riding a winged water dragon, reputedly in the showrooms of Mercedes Benz, London in the 1920's, 49in high (124cm).
A Victorian electroplate meat skewer with shell and ring terminal, marks very indistinct, 34.5cm, an electroplate trident pickle server with bone handle, 24.5cm, another pickle server, a Bombilla with shell base and dove mount, a two pronged fork with blue ceramic handle, a cased pair of electroplate fish servers with bone handles and a pair of Victorian electroplate grape shears, the stems engraved with fruiting vines, 17cm (a quantity)
A Worcester "Two Porter Landscape" Cream Jug, circa 1760, finely painted in dark underglaze blue with the eponymous pattern in Baroque panel, the reverse with a bird amongst flowers and rocks, workman's mark, O intersected by a trident/arrow, {11.5cm} (chip, crack in the base of the handle). Auguste Moreau - A Pair of 19th Century French Bronze and Ormolu Candlestick Figures, one modelled as Neptune standing with one foot resting on the head of a dolphin, and holding a trident; the other modelled as Juno standing with a peacock, both holding leafy candle branches, on rouge marble shallow plinths and fish and shell cast bases, {underside applied with Houdebine foundry label, 30.5cm}
