1985 Ryder Cup Victory – Sam Torrance -Winning Putt. 1985 Sam Torrance Ryder Cup match worn golf glove from the singles match at The Belfry – an iconic moment in sport when Sam Torrance sank the winning putt, which deprived the Americans of the trophy for the first time in 28 years - comes with a letter of authenticity from caddie Paul Stevens. Together with various yardage books used by Paul Stevens while caddying for Sam Torrance during 2000 mostly European tour but also includes 82nd PGA Championship at Valhalla c/w Sam Torrance Caddie badge. Note: This made Sam Torrance the second European captain to sink the winning putt and captain a winning team at separate Ryder Cups, after Seve Ballesteros in 1987 (as a player) and 1997 (as captain)

In 1976 Montreal Olympics, Alan Warren`s boat the Gift Horse (The `Orse) was damaged in transit and therefore was not as fast as it should have been. After the frustration of finishing in 14th place, Alan Warren and his team mate David Hunt set fire to the boat at sea and a Canadian Navy warship was summoned to sink The `Orse.
