After Thomas Blinks (1860-1912) The Ferry, Published by the Berlin photographic company, 133 New Bond Street, London, 42 x 59cm (SH) (frames 66 x 83cm)together with a further two prints of hunting scenes after the same hand (3).Notes: The Ferry by Thomas Blinks was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1898. It is an unusual composition and a similar trip on a flat bottomed craft by the York and Ainsty Hunt in 1878 ended in disaster when the boat capized and four people were drowned. Potential hunts depicted in this scene could be the South Notts Hunt crossing the River Trent or the Wheatland crossing the River Severn.

Rectangular plate mounted with Thistle star; to the centre within a Celtic circlet, a crowned ornate coiled bugle horn bearing a boar's head. Reverse retains original two hooks and two studs. Old restoration to top star ray. VGCBecame a VB of the A & SH on 1st July 1881, redesignated 5th VB 1st December 1887 during which time the plate continued in service.

The four official releases are in better condition and include the extraordinarily rare and high demand 1989 reissue of "Electric Ladyland" (2335 203, Ex+/Ex), "Band of Gypsys" (821 933-1), "Rainbow Bridge" (OLW-150 (P-8167R)), and "Live at Winterland" (834 044-1).
