Hearty.) minor contact marks, very fine (2) £180-£220 --- Arthur Prescott Breeze was born in Thorpe, Norwich, on 19 November 1866 and enlisted in the Royal Navy as a Boy 2nd Class on 19 July 1893. Advanced Master at Arms on 26 August 1899, he served in H.M.S. Arethusa from 14 November 1899 to 3 April 1903, and was awarded his Long Service and Good Conduct Medal on 16 January 1907. He was shore pensioned on 20 November 1911.

David Hockney (British b.1937) Richard, Jim and Felix, for the Oz Obscenity Fund, offset lithograph, 1971, signed bottom right, numbered 19/30, measurements 70 x 93 cm (SH), frame 94 x 115 cm Provenance: private local collection, purchased at the Goldmark Gallery In 1971 a highly publicised trial was brought against British paper Oz and its journalists Richard Neville, Jim Anderson and Felix Dennis. They were charged with conspiracy to corrupt public morality based on an article published on the 28th May 1970 featured an illustration with Rupert the Bear's head atop an x-rated cartoon. The trial caused much public outcry as an infraction on freedom of speech and the accused were publicly supported by many celebrities and activitsts. David Hockney created this limited edition lithograph to raise money towards their legal costs and depicts the three journalists unclothed to convey their innocence.Condition report: Lot 17- is a work on paper, framed under glazing. The paper appears in good condition with no obvious signs of any tears or holes. There are some minor sparse spots of foxing either side of Felix, near the signature and between Richard and Jim (please refer to additional photographs). The frame has some general wear and tear and loose joints.
George Holt (British 1924-2005), Four Abstract Works in shades of grey and pink, mixed media on paper, signed and dated 93/94 verso, measurements 81 x 59.5 cm (SH) (4) Provenance: Consigned from the artist's estate George Holt was a West Midlands artist who is best known for his abstract works. Holt found inspiration in the works of the St Ives School artists and preferred to compose directly onto the canvas and react to and be stimulated by the experience and process of creating the work. He began his career in design having been apprenticed as a draftsman and became a Senior Lecturer at the Wolverhampton Technical College. He was a member of the Eagle Works Artist's Group in Wolverhampton and exhibited widely throughout the West Midlands throughout his career.

The paper is in good condition, no obvious signs of deterioration, rips or folds. There are faint creases including a vertical 5cm crease top centre and bottom centre as well as bottom left corner. The colours are in good condition and well preserved. The poster is not stuck down.

Abram Games (British 1914-1996) BEA to BIF, British European Airways to British Industries Fair Poster, May 3-14 1948, printed by The Baynard Press, London, numbered bottom left corner BEA.495.6M, measurements 100 x 62.2 cm (SH) The British Industries Fair was a yearly two-week event showcasing British Industries and was held at the showgrounds in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham. It was one of the most visited attractions in the country every year and ran between 1920 until 1957.

The paper appears in generally good condition; no obvious signs of tears, creases or evidence for deterioration. There is a scuff to the mid-right edge with some surface loss, two small scuffs to the bottom edge, two scratches to the top and bottom of the green semi-circle and three small surface scratches in the centre with some surface losses- please refer to additional photographs. There is some damage to the mount at the inner lower-right edge which has not affected the paper. The print is signed in pencil bottom right and numbered 56/150 bottom left.

The print titled Nanmor is a work on paper, unframed. The paper is in good condition without evidence for rips, folds or creases and no evidence for deterioration. The colours appear well preserved and stable. It is numbered bottom left in pencil within the plate. full margins are present.

It is numbered bottom left, titled centre and signed Irvin with date '94 in pencil bottom left. The paper does not have any rips, creases or folds and appears. There is foxing throughout the sheet which does extend into the platemark- primarily concentrated in the edges and not visible within the coloured area of the print (please refer to additional photographs uploaded). The colours are well preserved and appear to be stable.
