Seen as the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees, Goodall is best known for her 60-year study of social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees since she first went to Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania in 1960, where she witnessed human-like behaviours amongst chimpanzees, including armed conflict. Three boxed Maidenhead Static Model Club limited edition white metal models, which are all recreations of models fom the Spot-On range including 2014 45th Aniversary model Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire 236, blue over grey, 2015 model Bristol 406 in maroon and the 2016 model a Vauxhall Cresta PB in blue over cream, all appear VG/E in VG boxes. An unusual Morris 1000 Convertible white metal model, produced by DGM and based on the Spot-On version of the car, G+/VG in a plain box, is also included as part of this lot. (4)

Two unboxed Tri-ang Spot-On 404 Morris Mini Vans, in yellow, one with registration plates YU3250 appears generally G/G+ with all bumpers intact front and rear, the other, ACK975B, is F with damage to front bumper and with 'Shell' decals, thought not to be original, fitted to the front doors of the van. Also included as part of this lot is an unusual unboxed #210 style Morris Mini Van, understood to have been discovered on a market in Calcutta, India, which appears to have been painted all over in red with the 'Royal Mail' decals to both sides just discernible underneath, the base plate of the model is very much as per that found on the standard #210 model although the only wording on the base of this model is 'Morris Mini-Van'. A boxed Tri-ang Spot-On 274 Morris 1100 and Canoe in red, G/G+ in a P/F box, together with a scarce boxed Spot-On New Zealand version of the Morris 1100 model, N106 in light blue, G+ in a generally G+ crisp box. Both boxes would appear to have been fitted with replacement window acetates. (2)

Lot 428

A scarce unboxed Tri-ang Spot-On 207 Wadham Morris Ambulance, the later version of this model in white with red crosses to both sides and both rear doors. The vehicle has no apparent damage to the casting, with paint loss being largely confined to raised parts of the casting, overall appears G and also benefits from retaining its patient on stretcher.
