Attractive needlework firescreen, English, mid-18th century, worked in petit point in coloured wools with silk highlights depicting a ribbon tied floral bouquet surrounded by butterflies and dragonflies in a beige cartouche within a mid-blue frame of garden flowers, 25½in. x 20in. 65cm. x 51cm. Some restoration; slight damage/tear to base. In a mid-19th century rosewood and mahogany frame with barley-twist supports and splay feet, 41½in. high x 28in. wide overall, 105cm. x 71cm.
