A 19th Century mahogany sofa table with crossbanded and line inlaid decoration, fitted with two short drawers and raised on block supports with sabre legs, terminating with brass caps and castors, overall width approx 139cm, together with an Edwardian mahogany firescreen, with line inlaid decoration and turned finials above a needlework panel depicting exotic birds amongst foliage, raised on outswept supports.
A late 17th/early 18th Century embroidered panel of The Reception of The Queen of Sheba by King Solomon, depicting the queen with attendant blackamoor holding a parasol, the king wearing a turban and flowing cloak, standing within a hillocky landscape with trees, birds, a squirrel, a camel, sheep, a dog and a rabbit, houses and a palace in the background, worked in tent stitch with coloured threads, approx 46cm x 78cm, mounted within a 19th Century mahogany firescreen.
