Forkbeard Fantasy - My Favourite Collection of Pressed Husbands - The Fairybreaths On Tour (1977). Collection of stage settings and props, including a 19th century Victorian press, a 19th century firescreen display, a custom made book ' Pressed Husbands ' (featuring various pressed gentlemen!), a pressed husband on ironing board display etc. The 'pressing' performance featured Dorothy reciting her poem atop a step ladder, ironing her husbands on a giant ironing board, whilst her disgruntled husband Desmond looked on. Press measures approx. 168cm tall.
