A good 17th century needlework panel, finely worked in petit point stitch, depicting the four elements, within a blue decorative foliate border and spandrels in gros point, mounted within a French 18th century carved beechwood firescreen, probably Régence period, the floral, foliate and rocaille carved frame raised on pairs of cabriole style legs with ball and claw feet, 35in. (89cm.) wide, 46¾in. (118.75cm.) high.

An Arts & Crafts Newlyn style copper firescreen, the central panel embossed galleon with dragon to the sail and waves beneath, 49cm high, in an ironwork frame CONDITION REPORT: A copper panel enclosed in a wrought iron frame, the frame is very slightly twisted when viewed from above and showing signs of discolouration/rust/paint loss to the metal feet and frame from exposure to heat, especially the back. The copper panel is in good condition although the back is soot covered.
