Case: stainless steel, screw-down back. Signed: case, dial and movement. Dimensions: diameter 35mm. £4,000-£6,000 --- Heuer introduced the Carrera model with date wheel in 1966. The first execution powered by the Landeron caliber 189 movement features the date at the ‘12 o’clock’ position. The second execution was later introduced around 1968 with the date aperture at the ‘9 o’clock’ position. This rare watch is further distinguished by its Fab. Sussie dial. This text indicates the watch was sold into the French market as this was a requirement of the French customs during the fifties and sixties and is very rarely seen.
