MAPLE AND CO, TOTTENHAM, COURT ROAD, LONDON AN EDWARDIAN MAHOGANY AND INLAID DRINKS TABLE, the twin fold over surface revealing an articulated rise and fall mechanism, with a removable glass tray with brass handles, raised on square tapered legs, with castors, open width 113cm x closed width 59cm x depth 60cm x height 77cm, condition report: mechanism works smoothly, minor marks, the outer surface is lighter than the inside, the inlay to the top surface appears to have minor restoration, tiny piece of inlay missing next to the mechanism, split to the surface underneath the tray, other general signs of usage

Ryl. Innis. Fus.); Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 3 clasps, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901, date clasp a tailor’s copy (4861 Pte. G. Burgoyne. Rl; Innis: Fus:); 1914-15 Star (1753 L-Cpl. G. F. Burgoyne. 3-Lond. R.); British War and Victory Medals (1753 Sjt. G. F. Burgoyne. 3-Lond. R.) traces of lacquer, edge bruising and contact marks to the first two, nearly very fine and better (5) £240-£280 --- George Frederick Burgoyne was born in Tottenham on 1875 and served with the 2nd Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers in both India and South Africa, and then with the 3rd Battalion, London Regiment, during the Great War on the Western Front from 6 January 1915. He was discharged on 18 January 1918. Sold with copied research.
