TONY GALVIN - SPURS / IRELAND Tony Galvin played for Tottenham 201 times in domestic football scoring 20 goals and also made 29 appearances for the Republic of Ireland. He won 2 x FA Cup Finals with Tottenham, 1981 and 82 plus the UEFA Cup in 1984. In total he played 273 first team games for Spurs between 1978 and 87 scoring 31 goals as a winger before moving on to Sheffield Wednesday and Swindon. He played 29 times for the Irish Republic scoring away to Luxembourg . His first cap was against Netherlands in 1982 and he played all 3 games in the Euro 88 Finals including the famous victory v England , 1-0, in Stuttgart. The first Lot is his blue Tottenham woollen pullover from the 1981 Cup Final v Manchester City with the Tottenham crest and FA Cup Final Wembley 1981 embroidered beneath the crest on the left breast. TONY GALVIN 1982 LEAGUE CUP FINAL Tottenham match worn League Cup Final shirt 1982. White short sleeved shirt with Tottenham crest and match details on left breast.. Made by Le Coq Sportif and worn by Tony Galvin in the 1982 Football League Cup Final v Liverpool. Number 9 on reverse. Archibald gave Spurs an early lead but Rush equalised 3 minutes from the end and two goals in extra time gave Liverpool the Trophy. Good
GALVIN-HUGHTON 1982 FA CUP FINAL Tottenham short sleeve yellow shirt for the 1982 FA Cup Final v QPR. Tony Galvin thought that it was his shirt but as it is number 2 it is the shirt of Chris Hughton for the Final and after the game they each appear to have picked up the wrong shirt. The shirt is short sleeved, yellow with navy marks and made by le coq sportif. The Tottenham crest and match details are in the centre of the front of the shirt in navy blue and number 2 in navy on the reverse. Spurs defeated QPR in a replay at Wembley and both Galvin and Hughton played in both games. Good
TONY GALVIN - TOTTENHAM Long-sleeved Tottenham home shirt, number 18, believed to be 1981-82 and possibly from a European game as it is numbered 18 and Spurs reached the Semi-Finals of the Cup Winners Cup before losing to Barcelona. Made by le coq sportif with Spurs crest below the v neck in the centre. Navy blue cuffs surrounded by white and likewise the v neck . Number 18 in navy blue on the reverse and worn by Tony Galvin. Lecoqsportif badge on right breast , Tottenham Club badge and motto on left breast and Holsten in large letters in the centre beneath the two badges. Number 9 on reverse in navy blue. White shirt with cream stripes and probably used for European games. Some brown stains , light in colour, probably from the pitches. Fair-generally good

1984 UEFA CUP FINAL Match worn Anderlecht short sleeve shirt worn in the 1984 UEFA Cup Final v Tottenham and exchanged with Tony Galvin who played for Spurs in both legs. The mauve coloured shirt is from the second leg of the Final which Spurs won on penalties and was worn by number 6 , Anderlecht captain Franky Vercauteren. Good
INTER MILAN SHIRT Inter Milan shirt exchanged with Tony Galvin at the Ossie Ardiles Testimonial game, 1/5/86, Tottenham v Inter Milan which ended in a 2-1 Spurs victory , crowd being 30,586. The shirt is long-sleeved, blue and black stripes and number 11 on reverse in white. It is thought to have been worn by Minaudo of Inter. Maradona played for Tottenham in this game. Good
1982 CUP FINAL SHIRT- QPR Red short sleeved QPR 1982 Cup Final shirt worn by number 8 Mike Flanagan of QPR. Tottenham won the Cup defeating QPR after a replay and Flanagan was number 8 for QPR in both games. QPR badge on left breast with words Queens Park rangers Centenary with FA Cup Final beneath the badge. Made by Adidas with Adidas badge on right breast. From the Tony Galvin collection. Good
TOTTENHAM Excellent set of large Tottenham Club History books, limited edition, compiled and presented to the players by a wealthy supporter. I The large format cloth bound books cover the history of Tottenham from 1882-1974, eight volumes and come in two specially made bookcases to contain them. The books contain many copies of historical documents, programme covers etc throughout the ages for the period covered and are a unique history of Tottenham Hotspur between those years. This set was presented to Tony Galvin. Good
CYRIL KNOWLES Boxed medal awarded to Tony Galvin for playing in the Cyril Knowles Memorial match , 10/11/1991 , the Spurs team of 81/82 played the 90/91 team whilst earlier a Spurs 70-71 team played the Arsenal 70-71 team. Held in memory of ex Tottenham defender Cyril Knowles who had died a couple of months previously.. Small inscribed plaque inside the box with the medal. Good
