Evening Standard London 5-a-side Championships at Harringay 3rd April 1957 22 Page programme signed by Duncan Edwards the Manchester United player who died in the Munich air crash 10 months later. The programme has also been signed by Bobby Charlton, Stanley Matthews, Adam Hodgkinson and the Sports commentator David Coleman. There are other signatures one of which could be Jimmy Greaves but it is difficult to decipher. Participants in the tournament were Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham, Tottenham, Queen's Park Rangers, Leyton Orient, Millwall , Brentford, Charlton, Crystal Palace, Watford and Fulham. Generally good condition with winning teams inserted in pencil.

The card also includes signatures of players from Leeds, Hearts, Manchester City and Liverpool. Menus (unsigned unless stated) in his honour at The Sporting Club with Guest and table list 1969, Northern Nomads Dinner at Castle Irwell 1969, Golden Wedding Anniversary Dinner at the Hotel Piccadilly, Manchester (with invitation), Mulberry Homes Grand Champagne Buffet at the Manchester United Executive Suite at Old Trafford before Manchester United v Tottenham match 1981/82 (signed by Busby), Sir Matt Busby's Charities Effort at the Piccadilly Plaza Hotel, Manchester 1988, Testimonial Dinner Hotel Piccadilly, Manchester 1991. Also included are items to Busby receiving the Freedom of the City of Manchester in 1967 with invitations to the Lord Mayor, Pat Crerand and wife, Mr W.A. Young, Investiture of Busby as a Knight Commander of the Order of St Gregory the Great at St John's Manchester in 1972., plus Funeral Service booklet and brochure and ticket, a limited edition booklet by Harold Riley in conversation with Busby printed in 1987, personal Christmas card sent by Busby and his wife to Manchester United (one signed Matt and Jean and another one signed Matt and Jean Busby in 1965). Comes with various press photos a couple relating to Munich in 1958 . Comes with a programme Former Everton v Former Liverpool played at South Liverpool FC 1949/50 (Busby played for ex Liverpool plus three 1948 Olympic programmes where Busby was Manager of the GB team v Holland at Arsenal , France at Fulham and the Semi Final v Yugoslavia at Wembley.
