The deity stands in a dynamic pose within a mandorla, exuding both power and sacred significance.The card is bordered with a red edge, showing signs of wear that attest to its age and ritual use. The reverse side features handwritten script in red and black ink, likely Tibetan or Sanskrit Translation of the Backside:Red Ink:(Om Mani Padme Hum) - The famous mantra of Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion. Black Ink:(Om Svaha) – A common Sanskrit mantra syllable used in prayers and offerings.(Namo Guru Padma Siddhi Hum) – A mantra dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche), expressing reverence and calling for the realization of spiritual accomplishments (siddhi). This script is a prayer invoking blessings and guidance, emphasizing devotion to Guru Padmasambhava, a key figure in Tibetan Buddhism.The combination of these mantras suggests the card's use in tantric or meditative practices. Action Man wooden pattern for the Officer's Cap (4 x actual size), made by Palitoy's Chief Modelmaker Alan Blanchard. A rubber mould was taken of the pattern and a resin casting taken from the mould. The wooden cap still has the original pencil markings showing the location of the 17th-21st Lancers 'skull and crossbones' emblem. This lot is from the personal collection of Bob Brechin - Manager and Lead Designer of Action Man, and includes a personally signed certificate of authenticity, with a short statement regarding the design history of the cap - see photos.

Sullivan, who illustrated the Persian poem ‘The Rubaiyat’ by Omar Khayyam. Stanley Mouse collaborated with Alton Kelley to use the image to incorporate it into the poster for the 1966 Grateful Dead and the Oxford Circle concert at the Avalon Ballroom, San Francisco. The image became highly iconic.
