An early 19th century Old Hall, Hanley pressed earthenware pitcher of baluster form, with moulded body depicting Wedgwood to one side and a lion rampant above a crown to the other, centred with two women sat beside a stand with a large jasperware decorated vase, with ornamental handle, marked "OHECL/Hanley" to the base, height 29cm. CONDITION REPORT: Several areas of staining to the surface both inside and out, there is an area of damage to the rim with several cracks and hairlines spreading from it. Extensive crazing throughout. A tiny chip to the edge of the base.

A German modernist vase, 1950s-60s, by Great Entwurf of Bavaria, printed factory marks, of asymmetric bag form, decorated with fish and shells on a black ground, within silver mounted borders, 5½in. (14cm.) high; together with two similar pieces, a pitcher by Alka of Bavaria, 6in. (15.25cm.) high; and a saucer by Hutschenruther, both with similar floral decoration. (3) * Condition.: All three pieces in good condition, with no damage or restoration.
A good large pearlware Lord Nelson commemorative jug or pitcher, early 19th century, commemorating the victories of 'Horatio Lord Viscount Nelson Vice-Admiral of the White', transfer printed in blue and white with a portrait of Nelson, a vignette of the Victory and two oval panels listing his titles below a Naval device, the rim with similar and floral decoration, brown line rim, the body with moulded basal fluting and collar, 8½in. (21.5cm.) high. * Condition: Some rubs to brown line rim. Glaze wear to tip of spout. Hairline crack across base. A few glaze scratches to body. No other cracks, chips or damage. No restoration.
A Masons 'Two Man Willow' pattern blue and white Hydra jug, mid-19th century, with serpentine handle, blue printed mark and impressed '10' to base, 7½in. (19cm.) high; together with two other blue and white transfer printed water jugs. (3) * Condition: - Masons: No cracks or chips. Firing bubble to underside edge of base. Kiln dust to head on serpent handle. - Pitcher: Good cdn. Glaze flaw to side from the making.- Globular jug: 1½in. hairline to rim beside handle. Star crack to side and to base. Some discoloured glaze crazing.
