CHARLES BROOKE BRANWHITE (1851-1929) “Coastal landscape with windmill, two figures in foreground”, oil on canvas, signed lower right, 50 cm x 75 cm (incorrectly attributed to G BRAITHWAITE by Bonhams and valued for insurance at £3600) CONDITION REPORTS Has had damage and repairs in the top left hand corner as well as some areas of touching up approximately a third of the way along in the skyline. Cracking and crazing to the paintwork throughout, in need of a good clean. There is some rubbing along the outer edges of the canvas against the frame. Frame itself has some losses and scratches etc. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for more details

Naive School, 19th century. Two figures and a dog before a church and a manor house, oil on canvas, 59X65cm, in a stained pine frame.Stabalised craquelure throughout. painting has been re-lined and there is evidence of over paint. However, there is no damage and overall is in good restored condtion.
A pair of pitch pine folk art peg figures of a French sailor and a lady. Late 19th century, the cap inscribed 'Chateau Bruint?', height 27.5cm, together with a similar smaller pair of figures (4).Condition is good with no damage to report, a couple of tiny holes on the female figure. The marks on the underside appear to be from a blu-tack type material, presumably used to stabilise the figures, they are a little top heavy but do stand unsupported, although the smaller figures wobble a little. 19th century Parian figure of Sir Walter Scott based on the monument in Princes Street, Edinburgh CONDITION REPORT: The main body base and dog are in good order with no significant issues. The figure itself has had some repair and restoration to the figures right hand forearm, cuff and hand. The right hand has also had some restoration between the thumb and forefinger. The figures nose is a little rubbed. The base is also very dusty and somewhat dirty.

A Clarice Cliff and Frank Brangwyn limited edition 'Brangwyn' wall charger, circa 1935, painted with a processional scene of figures and animals to an exotic foliate setting, diameter 43cm, painted signature 'Frank Brangwyn' to reverse and the wording 'The Brangwyn panels designed for the Royal Gallery of the House of Lords 1925, first exhibited at Olympia 1933, painted by Clarice Cliff from one of the panels, A.Wilkinson, Royal Staffordshire Pottery, Burslem, Staffordshire, seemingly unfinished and not numbered, restored. NB - This lot was made by Clarice Cliff in 1934-39 and depict life in Imperial India. The plaques are hand-enamelled with scenes from 'The British Empire Panels' designed by Frank Brangwyn. The Brangwyn panels were commissioned by Lord Iveagh for the House of Lords to commemorate deceased peers, though the designs were rejected by the House of Lords as too frivolously decorative. The panels are now on display at Swansea Civic Centre. Clarice Cliff adapted designs from three of Brangwyn's panels for these limited edition wall plaques.

A Chinese late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) crackle glazed charger, of circular form, the central well painted in underglazed blue with Manchu figures and dwellings, before a buff crackle glazed ground, the rim with moulded faux bronze mounts, archaic character marks to the underside of the base, diameter 38cm.
A 19th Century Stourbridge glass water jug of footed swollen ovoid form with tall collar neck, integral spout and an angular handle, the body engraved with a scene of a tiger hunt with figures riding elephants in pursuit of a tiger to a jungle setting, unmarked, height 25cm, S/D.
