A silver-plated, brass and copper novelty cocktail shaker, modelled as an 18 pounder artillery shellGorham Manufacturing Company, America circa 1920The base of the shaker is an original brass shell casing, dating to 1915, this contains a chrome plated frame holding four clear glasses, the removable plated shaker is a facsimile of an eighteen pounder shrapnel shell, also stamped 'patent applied for in America and Foreign countries', with a copper driving band to the lower base, the removable brass 'fuse cap' with internal strainer and with a further removable cap, height 56cm.
