CRYSTAL PALACE SCRAPBOOKS Two 1972/72 Scrapbooks 84 pages, Division one, covering every League, FA Cup, League Cup, Friendly and Testimonial game of the 1971/72 season (54 matches) plus other news, transfers, results, league tables, etc. The highlight of the season (and there were not many as Palace struggled against relegation) was the 5-1 victory over high flying Sheff Utd (the match being shown on BBC`s Match of the Day). John `Yogi Bear` Hughes came second in the Match of the Day `Goal of the Season` competion, losing out to Ronnie Radford`s rocket (for Hereford) against Newcastle in the FA Cup. Palace just survived in 20 position. Generally good
