Holland, died of wounds on the 17th of October 1917, born and enlisted Huddersfield, he is Remembered with Honour at the St. Sever Cemetery, Rouen, Seine-Maratim, France. A Great War Bronze Memorial Plaque to Serjeant W. J. Jackson of the 157th Protection Company, Royal Defence Corps, Late Sherwood Foresters (Walter James Jackson) 43960 Serjeant W. J. The centre pages is autographed by the entire first team squad of 17 players plus Bertie Mee, Don Howe and George Wright. Pages 8/13 is another full colour spread of the first team squad and is also fully signed by 16 of the 17 players, only missing Geoff Barnett. The rest of the newspaper is signed on their photos by Bob McNab (twice), George Armstrong, Peter Storey, John Radford, Bob Wilson, Jack Kelsey. There are a total of 43 signatures. Good
