A 19th century longcase clock, by Radford of Leeds, with an eight day movement, the brass dial having subsidiary seconds and calendar aperture, engraved with scroll work bordered by pierced spandrels, the oak case having the split pediment hood above the trunk door, with ball finials, 56 by 28 by 230cm high.
TRUBSHAW BRIAN: (1924-2001) British Test Pilot, the first to fly Concorde, April 1969. A multiple signed British Aircraft Corporation Commemorative cover issued for the Pre-Production flight of Concorde 101 G-AXDN and featuring a colour image of the aircraft in flight, individually signed by the Concorde pilots and crew members Brian Trubshaw, John Cochrane, Roy Radford, Dennis Ackary and Alan Heywood. All have signed with their names alone in blue and black inks to clear areas. Post marked at Bristol, 20th August 1977 and at Fairford, Gloucestershire, 21st January 1977 and with various other cachets and post marks to the verso. About EX

ARSENAL: A hardback edition of Arsenal! Arsenal!, being an Official Souvenir edition published by Arsenal FC in commemoration of their 'Double' as Football League Champions and FA Cup winners, 1971, individually signed to the front free endpaper by twenty members of the Arsenal squad of 1970-71 including George Graham, Bob McNab, Bob Wilson, Sammy Nelson, Charlie George, George Armstrong, John Roberts, Peter Marinello, Peter Simpson, Pat Rice, Peter Storey, Frank McLintock, John Radford, Ray Kennedy, Bertie Mee (manager) etc. Neatly mounted (appropriately with red tape) to the inside front cover is a printed 8vo certificate issued with the book and presenting it to Dr. J. Crane 'in recognition of valuable services to the club during our greatest season', signed at the base by Denis Hill-Wood (chairman). Two further inside pages feature five neatly mounted original ticket stubs for various football matches including England vs. Wales 1973, England vs. Yugoslavia 1972 and the FA Cup Final 1971. An interesting association copy. Some very light, minor staining, only very slightly affecting the signatures and some light wear to the red leather and gilt stamped covers, otherwise about VG Dr. John Crane (d.2009) Arsenal FC and England doctor who led England's medical team at four World Cups in 1986, 1990, 1998 & 2002.
A small collection of Edward Radford studio pottery, including vases and trinket dishes, together with further small decorative vases, and six shallow Copeland India Tree bowls, transfer-printed and over-painted with orange and green flowering trees and a matching pedestal punch bowl in the same pattern (to two trays)
A GEORGE III OAK EIGHT DAY LONGCASE CLOCK THOMAS RADFORD, LEEDS the 31cm brass breakarched dial signed to the centre on scrolling banners T RADFORD LEEDS, with date sector and subsidiary seconds dial having mask and dolphin spandrels, in crossbanded case with segmental pediment and pillars to the hood, on panelled base and bracket feet, 225cm h, c1780 Provenance: Purchased George P Henzell Esq from the Leeds trade on March 6th 1945 for £29. 8. 0.; thence by descent to the present vendors.++Dial with old polish residues especially in the spandrels but thought to be original to the movement, the movement apparently complete, on later seat board, the cheeks not packed and some minor old structural repairs and slightly specked with paint. Sold with two weights and a pendulum with brass bob. Restored for the late owner in 1985 by Kenneth Chapelle of Glasgow
