Bryan Organ (1935-), Portrait of Trevor Bennett M.B.E. (1920-2007), signed and dated 1983, acrylic on canvas, 100.5 x 100.5cm.; 39.5 x 39.5in. * Trevor Bennett was the president and director of Newcastle United Football Club for 12 years until 2001. He was also benefactor to Leicester City Football Club and Leicestershire county cricket club.
Bolton Wanderers FC: a group of ten official record books, comprising a Register of Shareholders dating from 1894 to 1898; two Gate Receipt Books; two Directors' Minute Books; and five Wage Record Ledgers the Register of Share Holders contained within a large red tooled-leather ledger, organised in five sections, beginning with an Index, proceeded by an Allotment List (pages 1-9), a Register of Members and Share Ledger (pages 10 to 210), a Register of Transfers (pages 211-217) and an Annual Summary etc. (pages 218-297); together with a black leather bound Gate Receipt Book, inscribed in gilt on the spine Gate Book, and containing 199 numbered double-pages of Burnden Park gate receipt accountancy, from the match against Newcastle United (3rd round F.A. Cup), 4th March 1905, through to the match against Earlestown, 15th July 1908; a second black leather bound Gate Receipt Book, similarly inscribed on the spine, and fully completed with Burnden Park gate receipt accountancy, commencing with the match against Preston North End, 26th August 1939, covering the War years, and ending with the match against Charlton Athletic, 9th April 1949; together with two leather bound Minute Books, each inscribed Minute Book in gilt on the cover and spine, and containing Minutes of Directors' meetings covering the periods 1920 to 1921; and 1958 to 1964; together with five Players' Weekly Wages Ledgers covering the periods February 1948 to January 1949; March 1952 to June 1953; October 1955 to December 1956; December 1956 to February 1958; and February 1958 to February 1959
