FA CUP WINNERS MEDAL 1905 - ASTON VILLA Gold FA Cup Winners medal awarded to Harry Hampton of Aston Villa who scored both Villa goals in a 2-0 victory over Newcastle United at the Crystal Palace, 15/4/1905 in front of 101,117 spectators. The hall-marked gold medal has "1905" inscribed on the front and the inscription on the back reads "Aston Villa winners English Cup 1905 H.Hampton." Appy Arry as Hampton was known was a fearless goalscorer and he made his Villa League debut in November 1904 after being signed from Wellington Town and by the time of the Final he had already scored 16 League goals. Hampton played at Villa until 1920 and scored 215 League goals and 27 Cup goals in 376 appearances for Villa. After Villa, Hampton played for Birmingham and Newport County and he was capped 4 times by England. He died in 1963 aged 77. The medal, case not available, is in good condition and was awarded to one of Villas' most famous legends. Good

Newcastle United 2011/2012, Match Worn/Exchange Home Shirt - Leon Best, Number 20 (manufactured by Puma, Size L, Long Sleeve, Premier League flashes) from game versus WBA on 22/05/2011 part of the Dave Matthews collection. Dave worked for West Bromwich Albion as kit man for over fifty years, from 1961 until his death in 2013. During this period he collected many players shirts and various memorabilia, and swapped shirts wih opposing players and kit men. He also collected the autographs of many players, and gave many of his items to friends and family.
