ENGLAND - SCOTLAND 1924 Official programme England v Scotland, 12/4/1924, the first International game played at Wembley and a similar programme to the 1924 Cup Final was produced with a colour wrap around cover and one shilling was charged for the programme. AS often occurs in both programmes , the rather flimsy cover has been damaged at the back of the programme with a small piece of the back cover missing at the top. The inside of the programme has minor ageing marks and staples removed plus a fold but there is no writing and this is complete. Scotland drew 1-1 and the twenties were very successful for Scotland as they won 6 and drew 2 of the 10 games played. The Scots had 3 Rangers players, 2 from Ayr United , 2 from Newcastle and others from Partick, Raith, Sunderland and Hibs whilst England had 3 from Aston Villa, 2 from Bolton, 2 from Huddersfield and others from Sunderland, Shef Utd, Birmingham and Newcastle.
