An official match day pennant given to Southampton FC by Newcastle United at the first leg third round match of Fairs cup, 17-12-69, in black velvet with gold thread and tassels, 31in. high, 21in at widest. Provenance by repute: The pennant was hung behind the Southampton supporters bar at The Dell until their move in 2001. It was given to a waitress that worked there when they moved who sold it to the current vendor.
