Fourteen cabinet cups and saucers, various, including Coalport, Shelley, etc. CONDITION REPORT: The Melba bone china cup with the green top band and roses has a 2 cm hairline crack. The violet cup with the tall pierced loop handle has a similar 2 cm hairline crack. The saucer also has a 3 cm hairline crack. There is a small firing mark to the underside edge of one of the Coalport Hazelton pattern gilt and white saucers. There is rubbing to the gilding on the gold coloured cup & saucer. There is some rubbing to the interior gilding of the purple cup. All other pieces in this lot are in good order with no condition issues.

Two trays to include various china studies of horses including: Beswick; Sylvac seated dog; Shire horse and cart and series of coloured prints. (2) CONDITION REPORT: Beswick standing bay has a broken ear. Beswick stepping bay has two broken legs. Grey - marked H-O England and has a broken leg. Bay Shire - Melba ware, has a broken leg. Sylvac Dog in good condition. Small huntsman and horse in good condition. Donkey foal in good condition.

A commemorative programme for the Gala Performance by Command of His Majesty the King in honour of the visit of His Majesty the King of Spain, Thursday 8 June 1905, printed on silk by Finden Brown & Co with coloured border and tassel edge, 42 x 32cm (16.5 x 12.5ins), framed and glazed, together with another similar framed silk programme commemorating a gala performance in honour of the visit of the King and Queen of Denmark, 11 June 1907 Both featuring performances by Caruso and Melba. Some anecdotal evidence suggests that she cradled the stricken President in the Presidential Box after Booth had made his escape. Autograph material by Laura Keene is very uncommon. (1)
