An Art Nouveau Goldscheider cold-painted terracotta bust of Cleo De Merod, signed Montenave, applied with foil backed glass cabochons, stamped Goldscheider, incised modellers name.Cleo De Merod was a famous dancer of the day and was the mistress of King of Belgium. 67cm high**CONDITION REPORT**Occasional minor wear and flaking to the cold painted decoration around the edges of her shoulders and the edges of the socle. The central cabochon below her neck is inset into composition which has a shrunk and flaked slightly. Sockel seitlich sign. "Simon", schauseitig bez. "Souffle printamier". Silberfarbenes Zifferblatt (wohl erg.) mit schwarzen, arabischen Ziffern. Pendelwerk mit Federaufzug (Funktion nicht geprüft, da Pendelfeder gebrochen und Pendel fehlend). Halb- und Stundenschlag auf Glocke. Rückseitig Prägemarke "Goldscheider, Wien" sowie num. 2798, 38 und 17. Altersspuren, mehrere, (wohl Brand-)Risse und kleinere Stellen mit Farbabrieb. Um1900. 71,5x 32,5x 36cm.

An Austrian Art Nouveau Goldscheider painted pottery female bust, looking to sinister, her hair in netted headrest decorated with cabochon opalescent glass insets, raised mark, further stamped 'FABRIQUE EN AUTRICHE', numbered '276812' to reverse, h.49cmStands well.Clear areas of restoration to top of neck and chin, re-painted to these areas.Surface painted patina is well-worn, with some re-painted touched-in areas throughout.Surface losses also to raised areas and extremities.

A Myott & Son & Co and Staffordshire "Goldscheider" model of two borzoi, 17 1/4" long (damaged), two Sylvac models, a studio pottery model of a bird, two wall pockets with parrot decoration, 9" high, and another modelCondition:Greyhound model: The dog on the forefront is missing its front left paw and the same leg is cracked.Both back legs on both dogs are missing. The base is also cracked.The wall pockets are slightly crazed but no major damages.The model rabbit is fine.The model dog has a small chip to the tip of one ear.The pigeon has chips to base and the beak has been restored.One of the donkeys ears is missing and the base looks as though its been restored.

A PAIR OF LATE 19TH CENTURY FRIEDRICH GOLDSCHEIDER POLYCHROME-PATINATED TERRACOTTA ORIENTALIST BUSTS BY FRIEDRICH GOLDSCHEIDER, the female bust inscribed 926/XXI BELOW the Goldscheider cachet, the male bust inscribed 925/V above the Goldscheider cachet, height 47cm approx., together with one square oak and baize covered plinth (3) (Condition report: the female bust has a chip to the edge of the cape on the left hand side, there is a crack to the inside of the base but it does not seem to go through the body, the male bust has a large chip to the front of the cape at the right hand side and a smaller chip under the front corner of the cape on the left hand side, to the interior of the base there are two cracks/ firing faults that have had some repair internally and perhaps some gilding externally, both are generally a bit dust with slight rubbing to glazes in places)

Some chipping to the base although some appears to have been done during manufacture. Surface scratches. There is an area of glaze missing from her back left hand curl. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use, to include in need of a clean. See images for more detail.
