An Early 20th Century Scratch Built Antique Style Musical Automaton In the form of a macabre baby doll in basket; clothed in Victorian style lace bloomers and frilled bonnet. Raised on square velvet covered base with fringe trim. Faded 'Exposition' label to base, requires some restoration. Please see image
An automaton modelled as a female Pierrot, for restoration with composite hands, dressed in light pink outfit with bells and rattle, electrically powered, on velvet lined square plinth base, height approx 84cm (af). Additional InformationHas not been tested by this auction house, no guarantee of working order. Electricity and wiring will need to be re-done. The left hand first two finger have both been broken off and reglued. The rattle stem has been broken in two. Holes, fraying and discolouration to the outfit, further surface scuffs to the face. The curl at the end of the right boot has been broken off and lost. In general heavy wear throughout, in need of extensive attention.
