A Persian carved circular wooden bowl, early 20th century, decorated in high relief and poker work with a continuous frieze of four men armed with spears and shields and four camels carrying goods, four palms trees, a rosette upper border and three rows of stiff leaves to the lower rim and circular foot, a band of white metal applied to rim and foot, the plain interior carved to a depth of 9cm, 26 by 13.5cm overall, with similar carved wood spoon and fork, 25cm. A late George III black leather travelling trunk, with brass bound and studded decoration, brass shield shaped escutcheon, the lift lid painted with white lettering 'Sir Ed.
