Measurements 45.8 x 61.5, framed measurements 55.5 x 71 cm Arthur Henry Andrews (1906-1966) was a painter, etcher and wood engraver born in Birmingham. He studied at the Hornsey School of Art and later at the Royal College of Art under William Rothenstein. He was married to fellow artist Sushila Singh (Indian/British 1904-1999), whom he met while studying together.

WW2 Era German SA 1933 2nd pattern dagger & scabbard by Arthur Evertz. Features mid-brown wood grip with eagle and roundel, cross guards with wear to top nickel finish. The very good condition A. Everzt RZM - M7/85 marked blade measures 22 cm and is etched with the motto “Alles für Deutschland” being very good in detail. Some light age and withdrawal marks and light wear. Brown painted finish scabbard is very good with only light chip marks, retains suspension ring and nickel mounts, being very good overall.
