Imperial German Prussian Pioneer Battalion Nr7 Officers Field Grey Tunic, interesting late WW1 period officers field grey tunic constructed from a heavy whip cord field grey cloth. Typical late war two additional upper breast pockets and the two lower pockets. Field grey Prussian crowned buttons to the front and pockets. Tunic with medal loops to the breast. Black piped collar. Pioneer / technical officers shoulder boards with gilt number ‘7’ to the centres. Interior typical late war period black cloth interestingly the tunic has a Bavarian tailors label. Generally a good example of a late war officers tunic.

Original vintage World War Two propaganda poster map published in Illustrierter Beobachter, Sondernummer / Illustrated Observer, Special Edition, the cover features an image titled Englands Schuld / Englands Shame, depicting a British soldier in a military uniform with a whip smoking a pipe on the chair carried by the African, Asian and Middle Eastern slaves in chains who carry him, with various maps - North Sea Theatre of War; a map of the world marking protectorates and colonies of Germany, England, Poland and France; with a foldout of a large British Isles map on the reverse. Illustrierter Beobachter was an illustrated propaganda magazine by the German Nazi Party published between 1926-1945. Fair condition, folded, creasing, tears, staining, pinholes, small paper losses, edges folded over, tape on edges, foxing. The iridescent blue leather on this handsome guy almost glistens. His big racoon like eyes look right through you with beaded embellishments and fuzzy blue eyebrows. He has a black leather whip stitched patch and underside of his arms to create interest. The bottom of his feet are blue leather as well. His claws are a lighter blue.
