Launched in the early 1980s, the Nikon F3 P (for 'Press' or 'Professional') can be easily identified by a built-in hot-shoe on top of a non-standard HP viewfinder. Other features that differ from a standard F3 body are the sealed rubber grommet around the shutter release button and the slightly larger film counter window. The P version lacks a self-timer. For ease of use, this example had been fitted with a standard F3 back, but the original MF-6 back, which features an 'Auto-Stop' facility when using a motor drive, is included. (condition 5F).
