A brass three drawer telescope, by Winter, Newcastle upon Tyne, 45cm long, together with a holbsteric barometer, 16cm high, and a French thermometer in the form of a carytid, 57.5cm high (3)Condition report: Stains to the leather of the telescope, with some surface wear. Surface wear and loss of finish to the barometer. Loss of glass thermometer and signs of woodworm, with general wear and losses.

Eight-day 20th century brass cased "Schatz Royal Mariner" bulkhead clock, with a 6" dial, Roman numerals and minute track, bells on/off control, black spade hands with a brass bezel and flat bevelled glass, twin train spring driven balance wheel movement sounding the ships watches on a bell. With a corresponding and matching Schatz open dial compensated aneroid barometer, with weather predictions and measuring barometric pressure in inches and millibars, with a curved spirit thermometer measuring temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius, steel indicating hand and brass recording hand.
19th/20th century model of a steam engine, incorporating a time piece to the cab, a barometer to the boiler, a thermometer in the stack and a small compass to the top of the stack. Mounted on rails on a polished black slate base, 47cm long, 23cm wide, 45cm high.CONDITION REPORTS:The steam engine is in good condition it just requires cleaning, tarnished in areas and some areas with heavy rust patriculary the wheel bars/rods - see additional images. An interesting early 20th century Negretti and Zambra desk thermometer, the ivory scale marked with both fahrenheit and also reaumur scales, contained in black Morocco leather covered case. 13.5 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The case is in generally good condition and has aged appropriately. The thermometer scale has some slight fading to the numbering and on the scale. The thermometer works and it appears fully functional. There is some minor staining and bending to the inner lining of the case but overall it is in good condition commensurate with age and use.
A 19th Century French Ormolu and Mahogany Wheel Aneroid Barometer and Thermometer, by Henry Dasson of Paris, with 3ins diameter enamel dial and enamel thermometer, within ormolu case cast with grape vines and leaves, 18ins highThe item appears to be in good overall condition, showing no obvious sign of previous repair or damage, there is some light wear to the gilding commensurate with age and moderate usage, the enamel scale to the thermometer is in good condition showing no signs of hairline cracks or chips, the glass bulb containing the spirits is intact. The barometer itself-the enamel to the face is in good condition showing no obvious sign of cracks, chips or hairline and the numerals are distinct. The gold decoration to the dial is also intact and in good order and the hands appear original. Overall a good honest example.

Barnasconi, Leeds, 19th century mahogany five dial mercury wheel barometer, with hygrometer, thermometer, convex mirror, main dial and level, swan neck pediment with ivory finial, signed to the level, 98cm.Barnasconi is listed in Banfields 'Barometer Makers and Retailers' book as working between 1825-1850.
J.H. Steward, 406 Strand, London, a Victorian 'Wet and Dry' travelling/table thermometer, raised on a stand, original fitted case, 18cm James Henry Steward established his business in London in 1852, as a maker and retailer of optical, scientific, military and surveying instruments. In the mid 1800s he became the optician to Her Majesty's Government and the National Rifle, and National Artillery Associations. Steward died in 1896. J. H. Steward Ltd was incorporated in 1912 and continued in business until the middle of the 20th century.
