A late 19c cistern barometer signed W. Aronsberg & Co, 12 Victoria St. Manchester on its twin bone register plates which has twin veneers for yesterday and today. It is contained in a carved oak case and has a Fahrenheit and Centigrade mercury thermometer on its trunk. The cistern cover is heavily carved and there is machine carving around both the register plates and thermometer. The barometer is 42.5in tall overall.
A mid 19c tulip top wheel barometer, the 8in silvered dial signed Mansfield, Shaftsbury. The case is rosewood, inlaid with mother of pearl foliage designs and having a tulip shaped top and base. The trunk has a mercury Fahrenheit thermometer mounted on it with silvered scale and glazed front and the barometer is 38in tall overall.

A late Victorian carved oak barometer, with milk glass thermometer, 65 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The bookcase is in structurally very good order. The top, sides and back are all in extremely good condition with no cracks and no losses to any of the mouldings. The fixed shelves are all in good order also with only minor surface stains. The brass knob type feet are probably later replacements but in keeping and in generally good order.

A 19th Century Victorian brass Sikes Hydrometer No. 535, possibly for use within a Dairy. The mahogany case with inset ivory cartouche atop with ivory banding to the hinged lid. Within a green velvet interior housing the hydrometer, thermometer and weights. Hydrometer stamped for J. Lizars Glasgow. Case measures 6cm tall by 23cm wide and 9cm deep.
Rare, fine quality, early 18th century marine stick barometer, with concealed mercury tube and silvered rise and fall scales, signed Berge London late Ramsden and numbered 282, in a brass mounted "fiddle back" mahogany case, with boxwood cystern cover and inset ivory thermometer. Separate original brass gimbal. Circa 1800-1803. 116cm overall length. The scale on this barometer is engraved with number 282 and is very similar to another, by the same maker, held in The National Maritime Museum, engraved with the number 280. This particular barometer in the museum, is recorded, as being given as a gift, by Admiral Lord Nelson to one of his Captains.
A mahogany cased stick barometer, the silvered dial signed A Pozoly fecit and fitted with a thermometer, the case with architectural pediment and cable stringing, 97cm high/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: Lot 464Condition overall good and some cable banding missing at right hand border. The dial is slightly damaged at base of thermometer otherwise good.
