Victorian mahogany banjo barometer, signed Gatward Huntingdon, silvered dials, ivorine adjustor, height 96cm.Condition report:It is complete, with mercury. The case has had some historic adaptions/ repairs: the swan neck and moulding to the top looks later, and the thermometer housing appears replaced (with some existing splits lower left corner). The dry/damp needle is now just a fine splinter of wood rather than metal. The barometer dial has a scratch running from the lefthand edge (approx 9 o'clock position) and the gilt hand is presumably replaced.

The adjustor dial is lacking. The case is generally ok, other than a split to the moulded ebonised border to the mirror disc.
