A brass cased pocket thermometer with silvered dial, diameter 47mm, fitted in original circular case, together with a cased hydrometer (2).Additional InformationMinor rips/tears to each of the cases, the silvered dial on the thermometer is heavily worn, we are unable to comment if the pieces are in working order.
A late Victorian silver fob compass, by Ross, London, the case with maker's initials W.S., date letter indistinct but possibly London 1888, 3.5cm high, with matching fob barometer and thermometer (unmarked), all in fitted caseCondition report: In good condition overall. Only the compass appears to be hallmarked. Minor scratches and wear to the cases and glass. Leather case has some wear and scratches but fairly good overall. They appear to function, but we cannot guarantee that they are in working order.
A Tunbridge ware obelisk form desk thermometer, the stepped base with bands of mosaic the pedestal with three panels of floral mosaic and one of cube work, the ivorine scale with mercury thermometer within three panels of geometric mosaic, 19.5cms high. An early 20th century oak aneroid barometer with mercury thermometer. Height 48 cm, width 19 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The wooden case is in generally good condition with no issues. The thermometer operates. There are no cracks to the thermometer dial. The brass surround to the barometer dial is discoloured and a little rusty. We are not sure if the barometer mechanism operates or not, it is currently showing stormy. (Typists note - last night after this was dictated, we did have very windy and rainy weather! This may be a coincidence)

A Banjo Barometer by Frederick Welbourn of Thirsk, c.1860, in rosewood, with silvered 24cm dial and alcohol thermometer mounted on silvered scale, 102cm overall. Note: With its mercury the buyer must collect this barometer from Flints Thatcham offices. We do however provide a free service to remove mercury for shipping.
