Early 19th century mahogany cased mercury barometer, by C. Tagliabue & Casella. An Edwardian inlaid mahogany cased aneroid barometer, by Fattorini & Sons Ltd Bradford. Height 91 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The barometer case is in generally good order with only minor issues. There is a slight crush to the top right-hand corner of the cornice and various small dings and scratches to the main body of the barometer. The most noticeable is the light scratch to the underside of the inlay at the foot. The thermometer too seems intact. The silvering is a little worn in places. The silvering to the main dial is in generally good order and the barometer appears to be operating. The brass dial is tarnished.
An early 19th century mahogany barometer by J & M Riva Glasgow, and with mercury thermometer. Height 111 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The barometer case is in generally fairly good order. There are some stress fractures to the veneers particularly above and below the hydrometer and between the bottom right-hand corner of the thermometer case and the brass circumference. There is a further stress fracture beneath the spirit level and to certain places on the sides. All brasswork is a little tarnished. The silvering to all dials is a little worn. The adjusting knob operates but the adjusting pointer has slipped from its pivot.

CONDITION REPORT: The top scroll to the pediment has been broken and glued back into position. There are minor scuffs to the cornice and main body of the barometer but no major problems. The silvering to both dials is a little worn. The thermometer tube appears to be in good condition. The barometer appears to be operating.
