German Third Reich Police Officer’s sword or ‘Degan’ by F.W. Holler, Solingen. A good clean example. Single edged plated 85 cm blade with cutler’s oval thermometer logo to the forte on one side. The hilt with plain “D” shaped guard, wire bound grip with inlaid police eagle and swastika within oval oak wreath. Housed in its painted black steel scabbard with plated mounts. Minor service wear, some staining to blade, generally GC.
