A Continental early 20th century diamond and synthetic ruby five stone carved head ring, an old brilliant cut diamond, with an estimated weight of approximately 1.25ct, with an oval mixed cut synthetic ruby to each side, and an old European cut diamond to each end. All claw set with pairs of old eight cut diamonds to a carved head. Marked 18K. Principal diamond assessed as approximately. Colour: H/I Clarity: P1-P2 Finger size approximately Q (not round) CONDITION REPORT: All the claws are intact, although some are not quite down on the crown facets. Slightly oval in shape as the ring has been reduced in size at some stage.
A late Victorian ruby and diamond marquise shaped cluster ring, c.1900, a cushion shaped mixed cut ruby, grain set to a surround of graduated old European cut diamonds, to a scalloped silver gallery. Fleur-de-lys shoulders set with old European cut and rose cut diamonds, to a gold shank and underbezel. Finger size S½ CONDITION REPORT: Estimated as approximately 0.96ct (a slightly cushion shaped oval). Total diamond weight estimated as approximately 2.75ct. Diamonds- H-I-J VS2 S11 S12 The ring has been sized in the past, and is slightly thin at this point. Setting all appears secure. Claws intact but silver setting very tarnished. Tarnish to the gold. The ruby appears to be original to the ring. Pinkish red in colour- the rub appears more purple on the website than in real life. R 6/5 - R6/4 A series of enlongated and rounded transparent inclusions and crystal inclusions. No obvious damage.
An 18ct gold Victorian split pearl ruby and diamond ring, three split pearls set in a row, with Swiss cut rubies to the shoulders and each outer edge, with rose cut diamond set points. Birmingham 1873. Finger size J CONDITION REPORT: Slight wear to the outside of the shank. Requires cleaning.
An Art Deco sapphire, ruby and diamond swivel head eternity ring, a half hoop of calibré sapphires and calibré rubies, with swivel guards, grain set with graduated eight cut diamonds. Tested as platinum. Finger size Q½ CONDITION REPORT: Crown facet edge wear to the rubies and the sapphires. Chip to one corner of a ruby. Dirty. Historic repair to one hinge.
A Greek emerald and ruby set crown ring, an open looped form crown, rub set with graduated circular mixed cut emeralds and rubies, to a textured ground, with a pierced tapering shank. Marked 750. Finger size L CONDITION REPORT: No obvious major faults, other than a couple of tips off the leaves.
An 18ct gold Cartier ruby ellipse deux têtes croisées ring, a tapering torque style crossover band, with an oval mixed cut ruby, rub set to each side. Marked 'D 14718 Cartier 750 1995, size 53'. Finger size M CONDITION REPORT: No damage to the rubies. Stones secure. Light surface wear only to the mount.
