A diamond and multi-gemstone set ring, the stones set on five gold metal strands and comprising diamonds, emeralds, pearls, rubies and sapphires, unmarked, size M. CONDITION REPORT: Gross weight 6.2 grams. Diameter of largest ruby 3 mm. On the ring loop with the three rubies, the two end ruby mounts have been glued to the pearl. The same comment applies to the two pearls which in turn have been glued to the end diamond mounts. We assume that as with the other three ring loops that there should have been a cap here. It is likely that movement of the end two loops required this repair. The ruby mounts previously referred to are both rubbed on the inside edge. It is likely that both pearls are also rubbed on the edges but we cannot see this because of the glue. There is also some rubbing to the emerald mounts on the pearl side of the ring and also the three inboard ruby mounts. All diamonds have a reasonable sparkle but they are all primitively cut and could not be described as white or particularly bright or of good clarity.
