TWO MUGHAL SILVER FLASKS AND STOPPERS, NORTH INDIA OR KASHMIR, 18TH/EARLY 19TH C with compressed bulb, slightly flared neck and domed stopper, chased with vines in two registers divided by stiff leaves and a collar, one inscribed Sharāb chū la'l ravān be-jashār (the wine as ruby-red as a hunting ground) and Sharāb-i masdaq chū rū'ī shikār (a wine as brave as when going to the hunt), the other inscribed Be-ār ān sharāb chū beh sāt (bring forth that wine of good repute) and Ke bayad za bū-ish dil-i a'm zakāt (that its scent must give alms to all hearts), 17.5cm h, 13ozs 15dwts Provenance: Pryce family of Gunley. ++One stopper lacking the pointed finial, both originally with a chain linking the finial to the flask as evidenced by a small ring. Both in well preserved condition, decoration crisp, some polish residue, no later engraving, significant wear or any repairs

Regency yellow metal bracelet with fancy links and a 'hand' clasp modelled as a gloved-hand clasping a snake, 17cm long CONDITION REPORT Circa 1830. Tests as approximately 15ct gold. The clasp is very finely modelled and set with a red stone (probably a ruby) and a turquoise cabochon. The clasp works well and is not damaged or repaired. 25mm from end to end (including the ring / link). The links are in poor condition and a few links / jump-rings are brass replacements. Total gross weight approximately 8.7 grams
