A 9ct yellow gold diamond and ruby dress ring, the nine stripes of round cut diamonds and rubies set within bombe style head to plain polished shank, ring size O, stamped 'GA' with import marks for Sheffield, 2gms Condition report: Claws appear to have been re-tipped, when viewed with x10 loupe they appear crudely done. Claws are low in some areas. Shank in good condition with no major signs of repair or thinning. All stones present.
Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Lion Head Officers Sword by Alexander Coppel, Solingen, good silver plated lion head pattern officers sword with jewelled ruby eyes, black celluloid grip with wire binding. Langet with polished raised SS runes and blackened finished backing to the shield. Housed in the blackened scabbard with single hanging ring. Plain slightly curved blade. Makers trademark to the base under the langet. Blade measures 82 ¼ cms, overall 98cms. Generally good condition. Before the introduction of the standard SS sword degen, many German army swords were worn by SS officers, many either being silver plated or having the gilt finish removed, some examples have green jewelled eyes or the red like this example. Art Deco diamond, ruby and sapphire three row eternity ring with a platinum band set with calibre cut sapphires to one side and rubies to other, two hinged half bands each set with thirteen eight cut diamonds, can be worn on either side, ring size L½.Good condition commensurate with age. alignment of the bands are as they should be, the hinges work well. All stones appear to be original, minor chips and abrasions to the stones, commensurate with wear and age. Weighs approximately 6.1 grams.
Late Victorian ruby five stone ring with five graduated oval mixed cut rubies with diamond accents to the claw in 18ct gold setting, Ring M½.Good condition commensurate with age. The rubies are very lively bright stones. They have not been tested for origin (natural or otherwise) and have not been tested for any enhancement. Minor scratches and abrasions to the facets of the rubies commensurate with age. The central ruby measures approximately 5.2 x 5 x 3mm, then two rubies at approximately 4.9 x 3.9 x 2mm and two further rubies at approximately 4.5 x 3.7 x 2mm. One small diamond accent missing from one of the claws. Setting and shank in good condition. Not hallmarked but presumed to be 18ct gold. Weighs approximately 4.84 grams
Ruby and diamond ring with a half hoop of marquise cut rubies and brilliant cut diamonds in 18ct white gold setting. Ring size N½.Good condition commensurate with age. The settings seem secure. The central ruby is slightly smaller and rounder than the two on either side. The colour and clarity of the stones are good. The ring is not hallmarked but stamped 18ct and presumed to be 18ct white gold. Weighs approximately 4.4 grams.
