A Ruby and Diamond Ring, five oval cut rubies spaced by old cut diamond accents in yellow claw settings, to tapering shoulders on a reeded shank, total estimated diamond weight 0.40 carat approximately, finger size K see illustration The ring is in good condition. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gold. The largest ruby measures 6.2mm x 4.64mm x 3.49mm approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 5.8 grams. Condition Report made 25th January 2017.

An Art Deco Style Diamond and Ruby Ring, a princess cut diamond within a diamond shaped frame set with calibré cut rubies and an outer frame of eight-cut diamonds, total estimated diamond weight 0.60 carat approximately, finger size N1/2 see illustration The ring is in good condition. It is stamped '750' and in our opinion would test as gold. The principle diamond measures 4.00mm x 4.00mm x 2.9mm approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J, clarity SI1/SI2. Gross weight 2.8 grams. Condition Report made 1st February 2017.

Shank without issue.

A RUBY AND DIAMOND RING, circa 1890, the flower head shaped mount set to the centre with a single round mixed cut ruby highlight within a surround of six old cut diamond highlights, between split tapering scroll detail shoulders on a plain band. Stamped 18. Ring size O 1/2. Weight 1.9gms. CONDITION REPORTThe ruby measures approx. 2.39mm diameter by 1.70mm depth. Mid to dark pinkish red with good colour saturation and depth. With a loupe, a minor chip to the facet is visible and minor surface scratches. Collet setting in good condition.Total weight of diamonds approximately 0.12 carats.Estimated colour J/K. Estimated clarity I.All are well matched. Most with minor surface marks to the facets visible with a loupe. Mount and settings are generally in good condition.

AN ART DECO SAPPHIRE, RUBY AND DIAMOND RING, half of the band set with thirteen square cut channel set rubies, the other half set with thirteen square cut channel set sapphires, between two articulated half bands, each set with ten graduating brilliant cut diamond highlights, both hinged so they can be worn with either the ruby or sapphire band. Ring size K 1/2. Weight 5.2gms. CONDITION REPORTThree of the sapphires are visibly chipped. All are dark blue and slightly cloudy, however all are well matched. One ruby is visibly cracked. All are dark pinkish red with good colour saturation. All are well matched. Total weight of the diamonds approximately 0.20 carats. Estimated colour J/K. Estimated clarity SI 2/3. Evidence of wear and tear to the mounts and band in keeping with general wear and age.
