Forkbeard Fantasy - Roller Blind - Myth (1986) and Brittonioni Bros On Tour (1990s) - A custom made rolling canvas contraption, set within a wooden frame. A film of a character walking was originally projected onto the rolling scenery, which was operated by hand. Complete with an original Elmo Sound ST1200 projector. Hand painted rolling scene of a knight, a skeleton, stormy weather and various scenery. Measures approx. 180cm x 85cm x 40cm. Wooden case, with a large gramophone horn to top, mounted on a large wood and metal base, with wheels. Fitted with a projector and DVD player, and when working the projector rotates to send the footage around the room. With adjustable speed. Full working order. Forkbeard Fantasy - The Animator – a Forkbeard creation featuring a projected character onto a face-shaped canvas that can be hung from the ceiling. Complete with an integral DVD player and projector, the 'face' (on DVD) is back-projected onto the 'face' of the unit, thus making a talking character. DVD included, performed by Tim Britton complaining about 'artist's block'. Forkbeard are keen to point out that the piece is customisable and new footage featuring someone else could be made if desired. Measuring approx. 90cm tall.
