Amateur 8mm colour film taken by a local signalman of the 24th November 1960 accident at Pontrhydyfen. The crash is well documented but footage is unknown. The loco involved was Pannier Tank 9737 and there is dark footage of the loco (shows cabside numberplate), embedded in a diesel multiple unit. This film is on a full 3" spool. Also, on a full 7" spool, another 8mm colour film of the signalman`s holiday to Germany in the 1960`s. Mainly family clips but some brief glimpses of German electric and steam and also many shots of river traffic. Finally, another 3" spool marked `Train from Cymmer to Bridgend - over exposed - 80% U/S`. The original Keystone 20 Movie Camera is included (there is a film inside but not sure whether it has been exposed or not) and also an untested Elmo Projector. GWRA recommend the latter is checked by a qualified electrician before using.
