LUCIE RIE (1902-1995) - PORCELAIN BOWL a porcelain footed bowl with a bronze and black drip effect glaze to the exterior and interior, the centre of the interior with a radiating design. Damaged and repaired, please ask for condition reports. Monogram mark to base. 19cms diameter.++There is a section 11cms by 9cms which has been broken and repaired, this runs from the rim to near the centre, there is also a smaller triangular section broken from the rim. There is some restoration/filler around the rim to these areas. The back of the bowl has a small crack running off from one of these repaired areas, and there is a small chip to the outside of the rim. The lines of repair are visible on the inside and outside. Dame Lucie Rie (1902-1995). A finely potted conical bowl, in white stoneware, the ring turning to the exterior accentuated by a crystalline glaze, moulded mark to base, 10.7cm wide 6.5cm highCONDITION: In good condition with no restoration chips or cracks, the bowl is slightly off circular, typical minor glaze imperfections, the bowl has a good ring to it.
