Original paint to grip. Working release catch. Overall length 270mm. Complete with scabbard with much original paint remaining. Press stud retaining loop with "Original Prym" fastener.
WW2 British RAF Knife, Pocket, With Spike (Beadon Suit). Maker marked "GI & Co" for George Ibbotson of Sheffield plus AM and Crown along with Stores Ref. 22P/11. Sometimes referred to as the R.A.F. 'Clasp' knife. Simple folded sheet steel body with a phosphate finish. Fitted with two blades - one simple 9.75cm standard single edged spear-point blade and a similar length non edged spike. These knives were issued as part of the Beadon Flying Suit (Lightweight Flying Overall) and the Tropical Survival kit.
