24 CARAT GIN LIQUID GOLD ALCOHOL Produced by UK based luxury spirts company, Liquid Gold Alcohol, this ultra-premium, limited edition gin was released in 2020 with an eyebrow-raising price tag of around £1200. 24 Carat gold bars are added to the distillation process before the resulting spirit undergoes an 18 hour maceration where it absorbs the aromas from specially selected botanicals. The resulting gin is said to be incredibly smooth with flavours of juniper, coriander, cardamom, anise seed, French lavender and orange citrus. Can you taste the gold though?
