A mixed lot to include four silver decanter labels having floral embossed borders to include 'Port' 'Gin' 'Sherry' and 'Whisky' total weight 51.8g together with a glass claret jug decorated with grape and wine band, a set of silver plated teaspoons and a silver plated wine coaster.Location:If there is no condition report, please request.
COUNTRY LIFE: Two Staffordshire Figures, including a Gardener; and a fine figure modelled as Temperance 'Gin/Water',the pretty gardener, possibly by John and Rebecca Lloyd of Shelton, standing her apron full of flowers, 23cm high; the double sided figure of Temperance representing a drunk and teetotal man, one side marked 'Gin', the other 'Water', 22cm high (2). In overall good condition with a few losses to paint, glaze, gilding, typical with age. The figure on the "Gin" side has a small hole, likely firing fault, in the groin area.

A group of vintage and later, unmarked white metal, likely some silver and costume jewellery, including a stone set rectangular pendant, a pearl set spray brooch, both in the Scandinavian style, Art Nouveau pin and similar decanter label for 'Gin', a hardstone pendant and a butterfly wing brooch of abstract design.
A set of four Doulton Lambeth stoneware spirit flasks, each with diamond registration lozenge to base date coded for 1880, of shouldered square shape with incised arched vertical line decoration beneath stylized foliate detail, the handles marked 'SW' (Scotch Whisky), 'G' (Gin), 'IW' (Irish Whisky), and 'B' (Brandy), each fitted with a gilt metal mounted cork stopper, impressed and incised marks to bases, height 22.5cm.

British War Medal 1914-20 (3) (R.M.A. 14326 Gr. W. Hamilton.; GS-18254 Pte. H. R. Kendall. E.R. of York. Y.; 67658. Pte. S. Bateman. M.G.C.) first with named Admiralty enclosure in named card box of issue, the second also in named card box of issue, surname partially officially corrected on second, nearly extremely fine (3) £100-£140 --- William Hamilton was born at Greenwich on 26 November 1870 and enlisted in the Royal Marines on 15 January 1889. He served during the Great War with HQ (Eastney), and died of wounds on 30 August 1915. He is buried in Portsmouth (Highland Road) Cemetery. Sydney Bateman attested for the Machine Gin Corps on 14 June 1915 ands served with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 17 March 1917. He was discharged on 13 September 1918, and was awarded a Silver War Badge no. 34023. Sold with copied research.
