ACCESSORIES: Quantity of salmon fishing accessories incl. flies, some in original packets by Ogden Smith and Army & Navy, a boxed Hardy silk salmon fly line, a staghorn priest, a lignum vitae handled brass/steel gaff, Hardy’s worm fishing tackle, and some early correspondence dealing with salmon fishing in Scotland.
ACCESSORIES: Fine and early leather coarse fisherman’s wallet with original ribbon tie, holding a float winder with vintage float tackle and a central compartment containing quill float caps and various float fishing accessories, the pockets of the wallet contain mainly hooks to gut by a number of makers, including Hardy Bros., Eton & Deller, Allcock’s and Sowerbutts.
CERAMIC: Unusual Hardy ceramic advertising desk display by the N S Pottery Coy, Cobridge England (Stoke on Trent), standing 9” tall, taking the form of a cube mounted over triangular stepped base, various Hardy factory and shop address details, fishing tackle, creel, lure, rod, reel and fish images to sides of cube, base stamp V & A with Thistle logo, fine.
PRINT: Allcock’s Redditch Carnival Float black and whiteprint, showing employees with fishing tackle against Ye Jolly Angler Inn (they don’t look so jolly) mounted in glazed wood frame 15” x12”. The original of this print first appeared in the Fishing Gazette 10th October 1921 - information supplied by Ray McLaren.

Allcock spiral minnows, various Bull head and Devon minnows by Hardy, Rudge and others, assorted early Colorado, Kidney, Hogback and Blade spoons, a Hardy blue Spintac lure tin with various Rudge quill minnows, all contained in 2 black japanned and other tackle boxes.
