A Regency mahogany tavern timepiece, R. Fletcher, Chester, early 19th century The four pillar single weight driven movement with five-wheel train and anchor escapement regulated by 29 inch pendulum, the 28 inch circular white painted metal Roman numeral dial indistinctly signed R. Fletcher, Chester to centre, with Arabic five minutes to outer track and pierced steel hands set behind concentric ring decorated hinged wooden bezel, the rectangular drop-trunk case with side doors behind the dial and shaped-top caddy moulded flame figured door to trunk over chisel-shaped foot, 110cm (43.5ins) high. Robert Fletcher is recorded in Baillie, G.H. Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World as working in Chester 1784-1820.

Axe. Moira Co. Antrim'', 12.4 cm, 114.6 g; another, numbered, ''No. 356''. Earlier label inscribed, ''Found with Hammer marked T thus when trenching in the lawn of Inniscarra House and given to me by Buchanan Walsh Esq., September 1885'' and with Inness label inscribed, ''Neos Late Chisel 567. Inniscarra. Co. Cork'', 13 cm, 213.4 g; an anvil, numbered, ''No. 357. Inness label now lacking but previously recorded as, ''Neos Late Anvil. Co. Antrim''. Further label inscribed, ''Co. Antrim. Stott Coll.'', 13.2 cm, 650 g, and a large axe, numbered, ''No. 358''. An earlier label is inscribed, ''Neos. Late. Large axe. Wilt-shire'' and numbered by Inness 69. A further Inness label was noted but is now lacking, 18.5 cm, 684.1 g (4) Provenance: All items ex Inness Collection. It is conjectured that items numbered 355-358 came previously from a large collection amassed by J. Brown of Salisbury

Rex, Queen, Python Lee Jackson, The Amboy Dukes, Twisted Sister, Gillan, Deep Purple, Curved Air, The Rolling Stones, Future Heroes, Kiss, Gary Moore, Queen. Condition varied but generally VG - EX.
George III (1760-1820), oval countermark upon Spanish Eight Reales of King Charles IIII (1788-1808), 1794 DA, struck in Santiago, Chile, small oval hallmark of George III right at centre of obverse, bust of Spanish King laureate and draped right, date below, legend and toothed border surrounding, CAROLVS.IIII. DEI. GRATIA, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms, pillar with ribbon incuse motto either side PLUS VLTRA, legend surrounding, .HISPAN. ET IND. REX. S. 8R. D.A., mint letter with o above, weight 26.97g (Bull 1853 R3; ESC 134; C&R 1069; S.3765A). Lightly toned, with large chisel cut intruding bottom of countermark into drapery of host coin, a possible attempt at cancellation? Otherwise host coin almost extremely fine, countermark stronger, very rare. The initials D and A at the end of the reverse legend represent the names of the Mint Assayers who were Domingo Eizaguirre and Augustin de Infante y Prado.
